Sanctification PowerPoint PDF

With the help of my 14-year-old secretary/daughter, I produced a PowerPoint presentation for last Sunday’s message on New Testament sanctification. The message distinguishes between justification and progressive (not definitive) sanctification in a way that many found to be helpful. Hopefully it will make sense without my verbal explanations. Here’s the core of the presentation as a PDF, followed below by two slides contrasting religion’s false view of justification and sanctification with the gospel’s. Thank God for grace.

  1. I think it’s important to point out that without either justification or sanctification, man will never see salvation. I think sometimes people over emphasize the dichotomy as though the two are mutually exclusive in either direction. Just a thought! Godspeed

  2. Hi Chris:

The other day when I was waiting to begin a Bible study in the prison where I worked I came across this. I printed out some of the material particularly on the difference between justification and sanctification. They were a tremendous help for these 8 guys. I thought you’d like to know that your teaching went inside prison walls.

    God bless,

  3. Very encouraging, Steve. Thanks for letting me know. Grace.
