“A Triune Prayer” is a J. W. Pepper Editor’s Choice

I was encouraged to learn that Molly Ijames‘ beautiful arrangement of my text A Triune Prayer (published by Beckenhorst) has been recognized as an Editor’s Choice by J. W. Pepper. It’s a significant honor in the choral music field. Congratulations, Molly! Here’s their description:

“A thoughtful prayer directed to the Triune God; Father; Jesus and Spirit, invokes the particular gifts of each individual member. Written for SATB with keyboard and string accompaniment, it’s a fitting choice for general worship as well as Trinity Sunday.”

You can hear the Beckenhorst demo here, find a congregational version here, buy the arrangement and orchestration here, and buy the recent SoundForth CD on which it appears here. Grace.

  1. We added it to our congregation’s repetoire a few months ago. Much appreciated!

  2. Chris – thanks so much for your ministry of music. I am grateful for the doctrinally rich, reverent and joyful music you help produce. They are a real blessing to the church. The church where I am a member sings some of the hymns you write.
