MP3s of New Choral Pieces

A few weeks ago I announced that two new choral arrangements are available from ChurchWorksMedia.com. Now, thanks to Paul Thompson (arranger and orchestrator for Stonebriar Community Church), we have demos of both.

For the Sake of His Name

This is a missions hymn by Chris Anderson and Greg Habegger, who also composed this new SATB arrangement. It has an optional congregational inclusion for the final verse. An orchestration by Paul Thompson will be available at the end of January. This piece is ideal for church missions conferences or any other services in which you desire to encourage Christ-glorifying missions.

Gaze on the Christ

Paul Thompson’s SATB arrangement of this new hymn by Chris Anderson and Greg Habegger is a meditative reflection on the cross-work of Christ. Based on John 1:29, Gaze on the Christ rejoices in the sacrifice of the Lamb of God to take away our sin and God’s wrath. It climaxes with a final verse on Christ’s resurrection. Perfect for Good Friday services, Easter, and any other time. An orchestration will be available at the end of January.
