And He Shall Reign For Ever and Ever

I can’t watch this video without being moved to joyful tears. Oh, that those who sang and heard that day would understand the glorious gospel truths contained in that great anthem! And some day they will, when “the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever” (Revelation 11:15).

Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Note: You can learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ here.

  1. Handel’s Messiah is my favorite. We had excerpts played on harpsichord for our wedding (12/21).

I was weeping while watching this too ….so wonderful! Had I been there, I think I’d have been too choked up to sing along. Oh, that those folks would be overcome with the message and not only the novelty of the performance.

  2. The story behind the video is here.

    Maranatha!

    Jer 33.3

  3. There aren’t too many things that cause me to weep (probably not as many as should), but I found myself watching this with a river of tears coursing down my cheeks. What a wonderful public testimony to our Lord! (The similar one I previously saw, the “Macy’s” one in, I believe, Philadelphia, had the same effect.)

Can the ACLU stop this? I would think not. Perhaps this is a new way for Christians to give clear and unhindered testimny for Christ.

  4. Thanks, Don. Interesting.

Yeah, Diane and Greg, this left me blubbering.
