ChurchWorks Links

I received two encouraging notes regarding ChurchWorksMedia.com today. The first was from SoundForth in an email announcing the new ChurchWorks Choral Series we’re working on together. You can view the email here, which also links to a new CWCS page here.

The second note was from my friend, Dan Olinger, who is leading BJU’s African Mission Team this summer. He sent the following picture of the team singing His Robes for Mine at Camp Lukenya, Athi River, Kenya. Last night the team sang Holy, Mighty, Worthy. Grace.

  1. Very encouraging, Chris. Particularly the comments at the end of the video about “congregational music.” To me that is one of the strong points of the CWM songs: they can be sung by the untrained guy who doesn’t know the difference between the treble clef and a sharp note. Good stuff; keep pumping out God-honoring, approachable music.

  2. Chris – I’m a reader of your blog from Sydney. Recently my church had the BJU Australia team over here in July. I was delighted to hear the team present “His Robes for Mine”. I mentioned the hymn to one of the team members, Anna Dahlhausen, and she said she knew you or had met you from before. It’s a blessing to see the Lord use the music from ChurchWorks across the world.
