Free Sermon Organizer from Logos

About a year and a half ago, I made a post in which I sought advice regarding the filing of sermons and/or illustrations. I got a variety of suggestions, including one from Phil Gons, an employee of Logos Bible Software. Phil recommended the Logos Sermon Organizer, beginning his explanation with “It’s not free, but…” Well, for a limited time, it is free. Here’s Logos’ description of the offer:

For a limited time, we’re giving away our Sermon File Addin (http://www.logos.com/products/details/3164). It allows you to archive your old sermons and illustrations in a format that is searchable and organized.

You don’t need to be a Logos user to use it. Simply download our free Libronix engine for Windows (http://www.logos.com/support/downloads/ldls/newuser) and then “purchase” the downloadable version of the Sermon File Addin.

The program provides a cataloging resource but also allows Logos users to include their own studies in their searches of Logos resources. What a great idea. And you can’t beat free.

  1. Chris, if I could just get my pastor migrated off that old technology he’s using onto a Windows platform with Logos, he could use the Sermon File Addin too.

    Speaking of Logos, I went to the Camp Logos training seminar last week. It was well worth the time and money. I just wish the price of Logos’s add on packages weren’t so pricey.
