My good friend Dan Greenfield is ministering to a dear family in his fledgling church plant following the tragic death of Jim Carlson. The Carlsons were once attendees of TCBC, and they continue to be our good friends. God’s grace was abundantly evident in Jim’s life. Please pray that it will also be magnified in his death. Especially pray for comfort for Denise, Erika and Hannah, Jim’s sweet wife and daughters. Pray that they’ll be divinely enabled to trust in God’s goodness even if they cannot immediately see it.
Praise the Lord that such agonizing, heart-rending sorrow is not eternal. “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” (Rev. 22:20)
