I caught only that last hour or a little less. Nothing on the Rick Warren invite. Piper did reaffirm his belief the charismatic “miraculous” sign gifts are active and should be sought after today. Paraphrasing,
“They are most effectively used in smaller groups. I believe in those things and I want believers to flourish in those things. Do you have anything from God for us today? Open yourself up to that.”
Did anyone hear a question about and his response to the Warren invite?

I listened to the link on Ben Terry’s sight. His discussion takes place during the final 8 minutes. His reasons seem to be focused on wanting to find out “what makes him tick.” it does not seem that Piper’s view of ecumenism matches his invite of RW. Interesting.
