Bob Bixby and Joy McCarnan, two friends from Morning Star Baptist Church in Rockford, Illinois, have kindly let me know that My Jesus Fair was recently introduced to Jamaica by a mission team from their church. A report of their ministry can be read here.
Jamaica?! How great is that?! What a blessing that the printed or preached or sung Word can go so many places that we cannot. “The Word of God is not bound.” (2 Timothy 2:9b) Praise the Lord!
On a more selfish note, the thought of the song basking in the tropics while I’m languishing in the snow of northeast Ohio is a little hard to take.
