PDF of Zichterman Post and Food for Thought

I don’t plan to pursue the Zichterman issue further. However, a friend asked if I could make the post available in a format more ideal for distribution. Here’s a pdf of my first Zichterman post to use if it can be helpful. I do ask that it not be altered at all if you use it.

Food for thought: Brian McCrorie started a discussion at his site regarding the tone of spiritual warnings and correction. I don’t agree with Brian’s post (at all), but I do think the discussion that follows it offers some valuable thoughts on the nature of false teaching and the biblical response to it. It’s serious stuff. Specifically, I believe that the way we treat a professing brother who is in sin and the way we treat a professing brother who is promoting doctrinal error are very different. Anyway, check it out, especially the comment section.

Last thought on the subject, I think: I would love to see Joe return to a biblical doctrinal position and a biblical philosophy of ministry. I hope that there are people working to that end, and I will be praying for it. However, because he is trying to pull others with him, I believe the primary concern at this point must be to protect the Lord’s people from his dangerous influence.

Now, on to other things.
